Welcome to Ohoka Horse & Carriages.
Our beautiful carriages will add that extra dimension of grace to your special day. A driver and footman in full livery are included and the carriages are decorated with roses.
As these carriages are fully transportable to any venue, we can take the Bride and bridal party to the ceremony from her home, or any other location.
If the reception is a long distance away we can relocate the horse and carriage to an appropriate distance from the reception venue.
The horse can travel at 14km an hour at a slow trot. Brides usually like to be taken on a 20 minute ride prior to the wedding (4km). However any arrangement can be adapted to suit your preferences.
The carriages can remain at the venue for stunning photo opportunites. Horse and carriage rides are a popular choice for guests, entertaining the children and adults for hours.
There is an additional charge that applies outside Ohoka to all carriages of $80 trailer hire, and an hourly rate of $25 each for the driver and footman.
